Medical Teaching Solution

Deliver the surgical field to lecture rooms, consultation rooms and recording systems
4K H.265 encoding, under 200 ms decoding latency at 1080p

Teaching needs a clear picture, and above all, no incidents

We do not touch the medicine - we move the picture, unchanged

Four problems that come up on every teaching project

  • The surgical camera and endoscope sit far from the lecture room, and cabling is awkward
  • Operating rooms are crowded: no space for extra boxes, let alone a PC
  • The lecture room picture lags the actual procedure, which defeats the purpose
  • Consultations cross campuses, and public networks raise quality and stability concerns

Our approach

  • Small encoding end : the ZY-EH1201 mounts on an equipment cart and takes no table space
  • 4K H.265 : the ZY-EH1304 keeps fine detail while holding bitrate down
  • Low-latency decoding : the ZY-DH901 decodes 1080p with under 200 ms latency
  • Hospital network first : run on the hospital LAN; for cross-campus links use SRT with bandwidth headroom

We only take the video signal from cameras and endoscopes. We never touch the control, power or clinical workflow of medical equipment; the tapping method should be confirmed by the hospital's biomedical engineering department.

FAQ

Will it interfere with surgical equipment?

No. Our devices only take the video signal from cameras and endoscopes for transport. They never touch the control, power supply or clinical workflow of medical equipment. The tapping method should be confirmed by the hospital's biomedical engineering department.

Do you hold medical certifications?

Our products are general purpose AV transport equipment. They are not sold as medical devices and perform no diagnostic function; they are used for teaching, relay and recording. Compliance questions in a medical setting should be confirmed by the hospital under local regulations.

What is the latency?

Decoding latency is under 200 ms at 1080p input, per the ZY-DH901 specification. End-to-end latency also depends on encoder settings and the network; for live guidance we recommend the hospital LAN and an on-site measurement.

Can a 4K endoscope be connected?

It depends on the interface and resolution: for HDMI 4K use the ZY-EH1304 ; for SDI endoscopes use the 3G-SDI transceiver at 1080p60. Tell us the connector type and resolution when selecting.
